Rrr...oll up!  Rrr...oll up!    You too, ladies and gentleman, can take a short ride in a fast machine!  The price of entry, you ask?  A mere, solitary guinea!

Hopefully the process of my eBay return will be similarly short, but not too rough.

Very underrated , The Alan Parson Project. "Eye In The Sky" is the album to have though.

Heard this on the radio today - never heard it before - what a superb instrumental. From 1962, The Shadows, Wonderful Land:-

I may now be a stuffy old opera and early music bod, but when young I liked other things.

An Australian single I played to destruction, and a Manchester record I still like forty years on.

Clearly Peter, you are a man of good taste. ;)

I saw them at Eric's 78/79. Spellbinding.

No thank you!

Affectation. Pantomime masquerading as avant garde.

'Look out, he's behind you!'

'Oh no he isn't.'

'Oh yes he is.'

 'Oh no he…' etc etc.

This is more like it…..

Of course it's bloody affectation!  That's the whole art rock aesthetic and I love it!

No, never. I've missed out badly.

Music from the early 60's hardly ever gets a play, and from what I can recall, never has in my personal lifetime. Only very occasionally.

I've been listening to a few more of their tracks on you tube. They were truly talented musicians.

Better than the endless generic bilge we are subjected to now.

Top record...I dont think Terry could be bothered being there in Holland.

it was him Joking who said "i think we sold twelve copies here in Holland "....Not sure if the crowd knew what he was singing about 😂
