Music to sort coins to

Recommended Posts

This is just a random selection of 8 favourite tracks (such a choice is in reality impossible):

- Neneh Cherry & Yousuf N'Dour - 7 Seconds

- Laurie Johnson - Theme to 'The Avengers'

- Love - Alone Again Or

- The Beach Boys - Surf's Up

- The Who - Baba O'Riley

- David Bowie - Life On Mars?

- Ralph Vaughn-Williams - Fantasia on a theme by Tallis

- Creedence Clearwater Revival - I Put A Spell On You

(no Beatles as I simply found it impossible to isolate just one song)

Or if you like lighter songs

The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by
Eye to eye, they solemnly convene to make the scene
Which is the name of the game, watch a guy watch a dame on any street in town
Up and down and over and across, romance is boss
Guys talk girl talk, it happens everywhere
Eyes watch girls walk with tender lovin' care
It's keepin' track of the fact watching them watching back
That makes the world go 'round
What's that sound, each time you hear a loud collective sigh
They're making music to watch girls by
Guys talk girl talk, it happens everywhere
Eyes watch girls walk with tender lovin' care
It's keepin' track of the fact watching them watching back
That makes the world go 'round
What's that sound, each time you hear a loud collective sigh
They're making music to watch girls by
The boys watch the girls while the girls watch the boys who watch the girls go by
Eye to eye, they solemnly convene to make the scene
La la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la la
La la la la la la la la la la la la la

I was an 80's rebel teen so all the greatest songs this country ever recorded apply as it was the era of all eras and some badass music. Probably the most diverse of all the decades. Some of the 90's was cool as well

Tears for fears

Boomtown Rats

UB40

The Specials

Madness.

Whitney Houston

Mariah carey

The Jam

Dire Straits

O.M.D.

Stranglers

Police

Duran Duran

Luther Vandross

Alexander Oneil

George Benson

Labby Syphilis (I know but I forgot how to spell his last name :))

Bananarama

Michael oo eh oo ee he Jackson

Janet Jackson

Blondie

Chaz n Dave

Godley and cream

Kenny Rogers

Dolly the Hooters Parton

Status Quo (every decade from the 60's onwards)

Most hated song Da Da Da by Trio a german band got to number 3 in  the charts . How I'll never know :)

Early dance music changed everything ,you didnt go out for a few hours it was a few days or ibiza for a few months.

Music changed from Joy divsion to New order almost overnight...... it was a good time from bits i remember.

Fortunately they started making it to hardcore and was time for me to retire :D

And your point is what? People get older and should be called to account for doing so?

I'm sure you're an absolute vision of loveliness still.

I was 'on the scene', so to speak, back then, so got to meet and work alongside a lot of interesting people.

Buzzcocks? Nowt wrong with them. First 'proper' 1976 band out of Manchester. I saw them play Eric's Club in Liverpool.

Age is just a state of mind. Though the limbs have aged I feel exactly the same as I did they day I left school. Well perhaps a little wiser and a lot less patient lols
