Penny stuff for tonight....

So, I think I want to go with B, but look as I might, I can't decide. It appears to have more ripples in the right place, and the design also looks a little like there is more field in view above the plume.

Thanks for any help ;)

Forget all the ripples & plume Kev:)

OBV 2 ...Colon close to both A:B  between GRA & BRITT

OBV i.....Gap to both A:B

REV A.... No rim & First i in date to Tooth

REV B.....Rim & First 1 in date to gap

There are others but they are the ones i use first :)

Also, rev A date is 11 teeth wide, rev B is 13 teeth wide - simples.

Oddly no, that one is 1916. I did read the other thread and had to double check.

Yes looking at the full obverse picture it does not look as noticable as most 1916 .

Looking again Kev if its 1916 i am now doubting weather it is...this is what i was trying to say on the other thread that the ear is easier in hand or pictured next to another to compare.

Normally the tooth on the 1916 you can tell at a glance.

Nobody has corrected me YET so interested to know :)

I have 2 of them (RE), one is more broken than the other. and a normal obverse. I'm pretty satisfied now that they're correct.

It's amazing what you find when you open your eyes lol.
