Does anyone (else) have one of these? I'm have been finding it extremely difficult to locate these in decent condition (better than GF really) but I'm hopefully about to upgrade this one soon.

Seems scarcer than merely 'Scarce' (ESC) to me!

The earlier George II shillings, especially those through 1729 are tougher to find in higher grades than those minted 10 years later. I have enjoyed collecting this series. My 1727 was bought about 12 years raw and submitted to NGC and it graded AU53. It has an original look and I am pleased with it. I don't recall seeing a GEM Unc. I don't think the series is overpriced for coins in the GVF and higher grade range.

How about the 1731 plumes?

Mine is lower grade  AF/F but has the double struck G and T mentioned in the only example sold by London coins in 2017.

Anyone have this coin without those errors or is that the default?
