I have had this thing knocking around for a while - does anyone know anything more about it? It matches the 1797 penny in size but has the extra wording over Britannia on the reverse. It appears very new and I assume some sort of fantasy piece, but I have not seen any others.

Looks to be one of the Donald Golder pieces, came out for the Millennium I think.

Me neither! It has been in my odds and ends box for sale for a while. When anyone has asked about it I have not been able to give a sensible answer, now I can.

Yes they are modern repros, from memory I think they were sold at £19.99 for the set.
