I'll put up some more- my friend died at 97 and I'm helping her family have a sort out.

If any are wanted, I'll take offers- say, one week and then I'll see who's offered what...I'm a penny man, so silver values are an unknown.

Shall I do a running count? I'm not getting a penny of this- I'll ask for payment into her daughter's account,

if that's all right. Any suggestions?

I have more to put up if it all goes well..

B

That 1908 half crown's lovely. Sorry to hear of the circumstances leading to the sale. :(

I know- not what I expected in the 'tin of coins'....

My friend had a very colourful artistic full life, and died an hour after doing the Telegraph crossword...

oh that we could all end our days that sharp....

I agree about the 1908 half crown.  I'd definitely be keen to give it a new home.  The 1887 florin is rather nice as well.

Am away for a week, starting tomorrow, but I will see what has been offered when I get back on Sunday 4th March if the deadline hasn't already passed.

Hope they all find good homes.
