The NGC number verifies on their site.

But like Craigy I was unaware of this issue!

I don't remember anything on the Royal Mint site, and I've also searched The London Gazette for any proclamations about a £25 gold coin with Pter Rabbit but haven't found any mention of this issue.  Does anyone have any thoughts on this ?, or is this something that is not from the Royal Mint that has fooled NGC.

Looks like the specification is the same as a 1/4oz Britannia in size weight and gold fineness.  It is strange though that this issue seems to have been kept quiet by the Royal Mint.
