detecting season has been in full swing, been very very lucky (except for the groat that as a couple of years ago, and thats how it came out the soil)

have been going on a lot of organised digs of late, cost a fortune in diesel and dig fee's lol had 103 hammered off one field

Jeez man, i definitaley don't get out enough. 103 hammies off one field though, thats about 90 more than my lifetimes count.

In all fairness though, I've had plenty of romans instead ;)

was a market site, but hAVE HAD STUFF from bronze age to post medieval, found this last week on the same field, silver gilt tudor dress pin minus the pin, off to the museum next week as it is treasure

i have a julia domna VESTA denny i found earlier in the year, had to clean it though, covered in black tarnish, shame it has a chunk missing,
