Not sure if i have missed the cut off for LCA and have a spare 1915 Recessed ear graded CGS 75 UNC or near so.

If anyone is looking for one as they seem quite scarce in a decent grade and problem free please PM me rather than asking about it on here , as other people then dont bother thinking it has sold :)

Definately NOT high grade........A WASHER

1874 H F76 CGS 2

Scarce and R17 in Freeman maybe a gap filler for someone.

Problem free apart from the main problem of hardly being anything to look at😂

£85 Posted special delivery.

Thanks Pete - I will  have a look, I ignored pretty much all my washers as people were taking the p*** :)

I got lucky once, perhaps it'll happen again!

Put them in groups by year if your not sure what to look for then go on Richards rare penny website.

If your still not sure of any indicators then post on another thread and hopefully people will help you 😊

All the washers you see selling have been found or spotted by someone ,so it might be you if you go to the trouble of having a look.

you make your own LUCK 😎

I think Richard needs to sort his site out :)

Rarestpennies says R18 but pennyvarieties says R8.

I remember looking for this one before, and all my washers look exactly like it, apart from having any detail even resembling anything other than a washer :)

Hmm, there is quite a big difference between cgs 2 and 3. cgs 3 need to show quite a few letters in the legend like the one below. Might be yours is a 2+ or a 2 with a CAC or Semra approved sticker? 😃

Thanks for the advice. Read the Home pages and you'll see the references to Freeman's and Gouby's rarity codes.

I think the only relevant attribution here is a CAC sticker. The others simply don't convey the same sense of realism.

If it's that bad, Pete, how can you tell it's a F76? What are the visible indicators?
