Two 1944 pennies both UNC with lustre.

Picture to follow to show the difference as one obviously not mint toned and scarce as nice.

My pictures are not the best

£50 for both including postage.

Pete.

1854 Copper Penny.

Recorded by Bramah 17a-All colons weak or missing.

I have found to be extemely hard to find and dont think there are many especially like this one.

Its a bit dusty and not the nicest looking but think may take along time to find a better one......If anyone finds an UNC one please let me Know ;)

Pictures to follow.

£100 plus postage.

I have a 1907 Penny i bought off Matt (pic is on his site) which is on the pennies for sale thread.

It has a small mark/gouge/scratch/flaw call it what you want :D on the obverse, although has IMO better lustre in hand than the picture shows.

£45 including postage which is less than i paid for it.

Pete.

The no colon has gone but the 1903 open i still have £40 including postage with picture to follow.

That's a particularly nice example, Jon, as it shows none of the sometimes quite extreme die wear characteristic of the 1906 and 1907 reverses, even at UNC grade. Also clean and absolutely problem free.

Here, for example, is mine, which, as you can see looks a lot more worn than yours on the reverse:-

Sorry for any confusion Mike - that's the ex-Nordle collection one that Pete's offering for sale. He asked me to stick the picture up and I was too lazy to type as well. :P

You're right though - it is a very nice strike. :)

Sorry John and Pete. Principle is sound though - that's a very nice 1907, even with the slight fingerprint on the obverse.
