£2 Commonwealth Coin Help

Recommended Posts

Hi Newbie here but been looking for a site like this.

My question is I'm finding it hard to identify the difference between one of  my commonwealth £2 Coins.

Was wondering if this is a England coin or a Northern Ireland coin.

I have another exactly the same can anyone throw in their pennies worth please.

It looks like the Northern Ireland one to me.  The centre of the cross is altogether smoother and more uniform on the England one.

A good find either way - especially so if it truly is the NI one!
