You seam to forget there was a c/n version in the mint set of that year as well so thats a proof too.

..and you seemed to have forgotten how to use any type of dictionary/spell check. Although I admire your shortcut to get around the problem of having to work out how to spell cupronickel.

Spink Coins of England does not list a silver proof issue for 1985.  I therefore guess the answer is no.  Hope that helps.
