Coin found in Northern Ireland

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I found this very corroded coin in Northern Ireland. I think it could be American and silver alloy. It has a hole in the top. I have tried to find an equivalent by googling but no luck! It is 32mm diameter. Any ideas?

All the best.

Thanks Bagerap you are right.  It's quite corroded - any suggestions how to clean up lead alloy?

There is no way. Let me look through my stock and I'll send you a clean one. Remind me if I haven't done anything by next monday. We're not used to this much sun, and it makes us a bit drowsy.

Thanks again Bagerap, that's very generous, but no need.  If you have any spare gold coins please feel free to offer ;)
