1935 Raised Edge Crown...which one to bid on? Need help :)

Recommended Posts

Hi all - I'm looking at buying a 1935 raised edge crown in the upcoming London Coins Auction...I'd like your opinion on which one seems the better coin out of the following 3...would really be appreciated!

Here are the coins:

http://www.londoncoins.co.uk/?searchterm=1935+RAISED+EDGE&searchtype=1&page=Catalogue

Number one is coin no 2692

Number two is coin no 2693

Number three is coin no 2694

I'm leaning towards coin number three - but I'm not so experienced in this so I'd like you opinions , is there anything in the descriptions I should be wary of?

If you feel that all three are not worth a bid I can always wait for the next auction.

Thanks in advance.

Gareth

Purely on their subjective eye appeal to me, I think 2694 is probably the best all-round proposition of the three, but number 2691 immediately above them is much nicer altogether and possibly worth trying to find the extra cash for it.

Good luck either way!

I agree with 2691; however seems not as much  cameo to the devices. It has the least hairlines and clearly nicest obverse.

Also agree with 2691, if their estimates are correct and it goes for just 20% more than the other 3, it's a no-brainer to me

If 2691 isn't an option (it's certainly the best) then 2694 would be next, followed by 2692, then 2693.

Any but 2693. Although I do find this can be quite subjective, so whichever looks best in your eyes.
