Haha true.

Although I haven't received a confirmation yet but on the site the one I was bidding on has been changed to 'sold for' instead of 'current bid'. Check the ones you've bid on maybe they've changed too.

Just checking now but not changed to sold for yet.

I was sole bidder one one lot so unless someone else bid last night in theory I should win that one

Just the 1919 London. I wanted either Liz errors  but the prices are too much IMHO. Maybe the OMS is fairish but I'm not willing to put that much on an error.

I don't quite get it. I bid on three. One is showing as sold and shows my last bid as the high one. The other two still have my bids as the high ones, but show as latest bids. So I don't know what's going on.

If the bid has been made over the internet neil must inform them the bid was not enough and ask should they wish to bid again.

Obviously over the phone is easier.

The one showing as sold the bidder will have told Neil they dont wish to go any higher.

Think thats how it works Mike :)

I suppose he's waiting for replies from the other bidders on the two not changed to sold before he marks it as sold.

I know I've now got two out of the three I bid for - I've got Lot No 50, the 1860 Freeman 14 LCW under foot, and Lot No 86, the Freeman 74 "specimen".

Still waiting to hear for certain about the other one, the1861 Freeman 22.

Lot 86 is a cracker, I love the tone, it really picks up the features of her face.

Well I won one of the lots I bid on. I left the other 2 as I wanted to concentrate on the one I really wanted. So lot 179 the 1932 penny is mine. Looking forward to getting it. Nice to be able to say I have one coin from this outstanding collection. :D
