£ 370 apparently.

So I beat that with a Geo III 1763 ('Northumberland') shilling and /or Charles II 1663 shilling, both sold as GEF (yeah, right!)

Anyone raise me?

(Eliza - you want to compare 1663s?)

I go to St. Bridgets CE Primary School, and am hoping to get into Calday Grange Grammar School. (if not, Hilbre High School)

Hi everyone,

I have just received a letter saying that I have got into Calday Grange Grammar School, and i will be starting in September!

To Oli,

It was founded in 1636! :P

Sorry - this is a reply to the question about what 850 Australian dollars is worth in pounds.

Caldy Grammar is very prestigious. I've known a few people who went there. Presumably you also know that Glenda Jackson is an old girl of West Kirby Girls Grammar? (So is my ex-wife, but that's another story... Her brother went to Caldy too.)

I was at Park High in the days when it was a grammar school, about 1200 years ago.

...an old girl...

Hehehe we have an "Old Boys" and an "Old Girls" club. All they do is sit around, drink gin and complain about the price of tea I think :)

Its my birthday tomorrow and I have asked for money to spend at the London coin fair rather that anything material just yet. I prefer money because I can spend it on what I want (eg: coins, coins, and more coins)!

Note: LUSTROUS is spelt L-U-S-T-R-O-U-S. NOT lusterous, NOT lustorious, LUSTROUS!
