Mint error or post mint damage?

Just need some second opinons. It looks OK, but I don't know how it could have come about and it's also strange to have similar things on both sides (which indicates to me that it's been in a vice maybe)

Anyway, here are some pics, any help is appreciated as always.

The chunk going through the ONE does really looks like a strike through, it's the reverse that's confusing me..

Looks post mint but bits of it look like lamination. Hard to say.
