  1. Unfortunately, advancing age and the lack of a suitable heir compels me to divest myself of my copper and bronze coin collection. I’ve selected Heritage Galleries as my selling agent, and they have put together a “monthly auction” that cherry picks the collection’s farthings, halfpennies, and pennies. If you’re interested in high quality, certified specimens of numerous dates and die varieties, have a look at the Heritage website presentation of my collection.
  2. I'm primarily a Victorian halfpenny collector, both copper and bronze young head varieties. there's no thread for such coins, so I have no place to post some newly acquired specimens. Consequently, I decided to make a new posting and invite others to show me their latest and greatest! Here's two NGC graded Victorian copper halfpennies that are both rather scarce in a high grade. I acquired both of them in the most recent Goldberg auction.

    Coins Left In Old Box

Hello, I have a collection of coins that my Gran made up to and including 1967. There are a large number of pennies dating from 1860, halfpennies dating from 1903, also three pences, farthings, few half crowns and florins and shilling and sixpences. I have been trying to find out the values as I wish to sell the coins. I believe some of them are less common however I am not familiar with the abbreviations used on the site. Could anyone point me in the right direction to understand what I need to look for? I spent all day yesterday trying to list the coins and dates under the monarchs, still not completed. Then I find that the dates are not all I need to look for! I wonder if the information I need is on this site or perhaps I should buy a book? Any help appreciated, Thanks
