    Some questions to the experts : 1. This Victoria 1 shilling coin looks great but has it been cleaned 2. Am i correct in saying it is obverse 5 and reverse C - getting used to this so need the help 3. How would you grade it ?Aunc

    Where the chin meets the neck(indentation) approx - is that what would be classified as a die flaw - and would it be caused by a poor die ?

  8. Perhaps having a lovely home in Southern Africa whose value keeps reducing in real terms has had a nasty impact on my psych.

  16. Gents, Thanks for your replies will get the recommended literature. Yes I did mean bronze. I have a 1905 and a 1908 shilling, no doubt will be looking to upgrade them. Got a bit excited in my first post hence the errors. best regards
