  1. Hi i have 290 farthings that was recovered from an old shoebox . They box was damp and the coins have alot of verdigris over them. The condition of most coins aren't very good due to this with few exceptions. The coins range from dates between 1896-1951. Do they have any value in this condition? http://share.pho.to/6j9Ui Thanks Coins Found: 1944 farthing 31 1943 farthing 32 1942 farthing 33 1941 farthing 34 1940 farthing 11 1939 farthing 23 1938 farthing 12 1937 farthing 7 1957 Queen Elizabeth ii six pence coin 2 1945 15 1946 18 1947 7 1948 3 1950 5 1951 1 1912-36 60 1896 1
  2. Also this 1962 shilling http://share.pho.to/6YKnF http://share.pho.to/6YKq1 on ebay goes for £89 http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/like/221509597607?limghlpsr=true&hlpv=2&ops=true&viphx=1&hlpht=true&lpid=108&device=c&adtype=pla&crdt=0&ff3=1&ff11=ICEP3.0.0&ff12=67&ff13=80&ff14=108&ff19=0 and on other sites goes for more. Would i be expected a similar price to the ones on ebay or not as the quality isn't as good as the one in the picture
  3. Hi i found some more coins from that have Elizabeth ii and various other heads on top. Some such as the 1888 queen Victoria coin aren't visible clearly and dates on some such as the 1924 florin are faded. Are these coins worth keeping or selling or should they be thrown away? Pictures : http://pho.to/6YJfj Thanks

  5. Thanks , but if the pennies and florins are in really excellent condition should they still be scrapped?
  6. Last week i found a large number of coins from various dates between 1862 and 1960s along with stamps from the 1940s. The coins found are 1962 and 1963 pennies with Queen Elizabeth II on the head. One 1862 shilling and one 1884 shilling. A large number of shillings and Florins with George Vi on top with various dates and 250 farthings from 1930-40s which however have some verdigris on them. Do you think that these coins can be sold if so how much would i expect in total?
