one millionth one pound note. worth anything?

That seems ok with regards the price.Maybe i was being a bit low although having just looked at some auction results £40 + seems about right and suppose collectors of good numbers will always pay more regardless of condition. Pete.

one millionth one pound note. worth anything?

Looks to be only fine + and the unusual number i would estimate about £35. Good luck should you sell it and hope you get considerably more. Pete.

    1874 HPenny

Think the other thing to note. Its not the best picture and cgs to grade a copper penny at 85 the price goes as to what someone will pay. They are scarce in this grade as your aware. Pete.

    Cleaned 1887 crown.

goomlique . Personally i would only buy from reputable dealers or alternative coins you can see in hand, such as coin fairs etc. Lots of coins on Ebay and in my opinion lots of garbage. Make your bid and win some and lose some. Pete

    Using acetone to clean coins

Something i have never tried but think coinery is the best to tell you think if i remember from previous posts there are different types. Better in the first place to buy a coin that does not need touching in my opinion
  22. personally i think its sellers trying to bump up the price and coins get sent to c.g.s. by sellers looking to make a few quid. There is nothing wrong with that but i can assure you it wont always work.I do feel they grade independently and some you win and some you lose .We must remember in my opinion shill bidding happens and some people buy a number. The majority of my coins i have had slabbed i bought raw and although was dissapointed of a few being rejected that was there opinion and what i paid for and allowed me to send the majority back.I have over a hundred pennies slabbed and although probably cost me a couple of grand i am happy You dont have to send or buy them. Pete
