You deserve to find them scott and have a lot more patience than me. I only look for copper pennies of which there is never more than twenty a day and thats enough. You must look at hundreds as you seem to buy all types. Hat of to you. -
This morning i received my lots from L.C.A. One of the lots was for three coins and one is a halfpenny low grade variety that i dont want. Its in a slab but you could break it out and i dont want anything for it. 1861 5+G 1/1 Just let me no and will post it. Pete.

I have just noticed this thread and the one rejected was cgs 22455 and rejected for verd. The sooner i can get about the better,i am even talking to myself now.

There is currently a 1882 no H penny on ebay .I was interested until i looked at the pictures and understand its a very low grade.Has anybody any opinion as to why the coin was not rejected ,appears full of verd/corrosion.The uin on c.g.s. is 33327 although the sellers pictures show the verd much clearer. Thanks pete

Not sure were you live but might be worth taking to a coin fair and letting a few of the dealers have a look in hand. Very hard to tell from the pictures and i feel it must of been removed ,but would be made up for you if not . -
Results are up for anyone interested.

Chances are coinery if you get it ,will be at your top bid and not less.Yes, it's not very often I get a nice surprise with proxy bids! Yes i am laid up after an operation and ended up leaving a few bids. Unfortunately not the best idea, but i suppose it stops me getting carried away.

yes that is normal -
I think that a lot of the time the photos dont do the coins justice paulus. Also the pictures vary from batch to batch that i have sent and wish i had mine photographed properly before i sent them. Whenever i now buy one already slabbed i look at the blown up picture and if its looks nice always better in hand.

Been focusing on the coppers over the last few months i like the look of them and the interesting varieties. One that was a struggle in a decent grade was the 1834. Anyway happy with the one i have and wont be looking for a better one. Its c.g.s. 31743.
