  1. Hi.thank you for letting me join your forum,I hope you dont mind me asking your advice about coins. My shop in has recently closed due to ill health. After the clear out I have about 2 kilogrammes of Irish and British coins, all demonations pre and post 1972. I would like to start a small business from home selling the coins.I'm not sure how to do it.Do i try sell framed sets of coins, sell them individually? Any advice would be great.
  2. Aye I think you are right but I wouldnt like to think I giving away a wee gem, probably give Ebay a whirl.Take it easy.
  3. Hi,it took me about 3 hours to sort the coins out,my hands were bogging afterwards! There are half pennies, pennies, threepences, sixpences, shillings, florins and half crowns.Mostly british, some irish. The british coins are George fifth and sixth and Elizabeth the second. The irish coins are from the same period. I have had a look on Ebay .There are various coins for sale/auction usually for £1 ti £2 so I dont know if it is worth the time spent to list them on Ebay. Any ideas guys?
  4. Thanks everybody for the friendly replies.I'll just have to get stuck in and sort them out.Our shop wasnt coin related,we sold Irish and Celtic souviners and gifts,we had been in business for 52 years and the coins collected over that period. Thanks for the help. Take it easy.
