  1. hi guys it here it is pewter and not lead and it has a strainge pattern in the fields any thoughts this is a closup of here eye and mouth

  3. hi all I have a lead piece possible a test on trial its lead had a hard life and looks like this link queen Victoria jubilee metal 77mm
  4. I have found a florin with the same dots are there any varietys of the 1925 shilling known with dots on the ears one side has 1 dot the other side had 2 dots just a thought and could this be a apart of the die making process
  5. I did find a few listing of trials and some are off metal trials
  6. still I have no idea that why I am here with you blokes and girls to let say they had a few dies with different effigys ready and tested them on a blank to see what the best was I can see both images are not the same there are small variations in both the forehead hair line the adams apple and the beard point and the dots near the ear ant way keep up the good work
  7. I did read they changes effigy because the weakness of the strike and and ghosting in the coins if that right

Hi all I have come across this coin its 4.13gramd about and 23.2mm and 1.45 thick it has 2 heads of George v and they are both different there are small dots near the ears that could help identify what is is there are a few effigy trials in my world book but no picture it has been checked its not glue or inlaid its been hit with 2 dies and they are not the same any help would be great shane
  10. hi all have a nouther one mite be dumb the 1844 bi metal ni hace read there was a few types after inspecting one i just got there is a nuber 3 after reg in the middle if the coin any thoughts or are i just seeing things
  11. This is a standard FoB crown with the original box. Perfect condition, £10 max though probably less. sorry rod the ch/unc was ment for the trial n the pcgs cant get a guess on the price of that one
  12. THESE WERE WITH IT and some more to come someone must have some idea on its price and the photo dont do it justice its ch/unc
  13. your right it does look comical like a chimp but its nose looks like that but when you push it on play dough the chimp nose is normal as that part were it sticks out is the nostrole i have seen this bust used on the pennys and crown in the 30s from jersy /jamaica west indies british colonys like i said i dont have any britsh coins to compare i have a few from world coins and it looks like that sort of head theouther one with no crown is told to me to be the die from the 1951 festival coin
