well i did get one - i must admit it is not really that awful , while the coin itself is actually a white metal (full marks for that!) the packing is super - just a shame a few details are wrong - no reeded edge to the coin but there again they have to be sure you can tell it from an original coin
-
i really have a good mind to get one of these free on saturday - just so i can laugh at it and how bad it looks

Does the BM stand for BM bargains?

NOBODY expects the Spanish Inquisition! Amongst our weaponry are such diverse elements as: fear, surprise, ruthless efficiency, an almost fanatical devotion to the Pope, and nice red uniforms - Oh damn!
-
Our chief weapons are surprise , surprise is our chief weapon.
Nobody expects the spanish inqustion
-
But nobody expects "The Spanish inquisition"!

What did they call july before Julius caesar was born? Surely the romans did not walk around with several unnamed months before they were named properly - this would create lots of problems at work trying to get through to your employer what time you want off , though not as much bother for slaves as you could just refuse them any time off (great to be the boss ain't it ! ) LOL

Ok hodgeson did not on purpose set out to lose the world cup but in the end the buck has to stop with someone and someone has to go too make way for someone better (hopefully?) lol

They charge a fortune for putting it in a "plastic tomb" and cannot be bothered putting even the most basic info on the coin - they miss off the moneyer

it has gone worse yes but the coins are at least not made as cheap as pos like in the usa , cent coins are very poorly made

Maybe a obverse die that was due to be scraped wasn't and was accidentally used again by mistake - my idea of what happened
-
I suspect it happened because of the "dent" rose obverse 20p die was twined with the wrong reverse.
Easy mistake to make i would emagin when you have two different obverses and two different reverses in one year
Replica "king's shilling"
