    Check Your Change 2008 Edition.

Got the book its great. After thinking long and hard about what coins to collect I've decided to collect only coins that I find in my change. I've been doing this for a bout 4 weeks now. I've managed to find all sorts of 50 pences and a 1988 pound. Its great fun. Can any one help in telling me what jems I should be looking out for. (I'm Aware of the two pence new pence, the 2008 twenty pence mule and the 2008 twenty pence die crack) Thanks. .Steve.

    hi all

Hi thanks for the reply. Excuse my ignorance, but what does BU mean? ?
  6. Hi all I'm new to coin collecting. And was wondering why the 1988 £1 is sort after. As a new collector what coins should I be looking out for in my Chang and why. PS the book check your change has been ordered and I'm eagerly waiting for it in the post. Hoping to find one of those 1983 1p new pences haha.

    hi all

Hi all New to the site and new to coin collecting, that new that I've not even got a collection as yet. I'm interested in any gold sovereigns, more as an investment then a collection. I like The idea of sifting through my penny jar ( a large pub whisky bottle full) with the book CHECK YOUR CHANGE hoping to find that 1983 2p new pence. Geeky yes but that's me. Also George V 1st issue 1911 to 1919 Silver coins. (correct Me on the dates if I'm wrong) as these seem to still be reasonably affordable. Any help or tips would be much appreciated. Thanks for looking. .Steve.
