  1. I need to visit a few more live coin auctions. I've been to Brocks in Stockport, and CJ's Lakeland auction. Went all the way to Lockdales - but that was hard work - expensive and far too busy. Are London coin auction or Croydon coin auction worth a visit? And is there anywhere else North of Birmingham worth visiting?
  2. Hi Chris Congratulations on having really effective spam blockers. All my e-mails to both your addresses are failing. Can you do me another 30 of the collectors banknotes please. All the best Andy
  3. I have a large 56mm diameter 1480 silver medal of John Kendall (Jo Kendal). 'Jo Kendal Rhodi Tvrcpellerivs' and a raised portrait on the obverse and a coat of arms and 'tempore obsidionis turcorum MCCCCLXXX'. Weighs around 68 grammes. Managed to find out quite a bit about Kendall and the Knights of St John, siege of Malta etc - but not the medal. Are any of you wise folks into historic medals? Any help would be appreciated. John Kendall
  4. Thought I'd put it about a bit myself as well. Thanks for that first bit of info. I'll try and sort that letter out for you later - just really busy packing at the moment. All the best Andy
