I often search for bulkier items locally with pick up only. My best score was 2 sea fishing rods and reels and various bits of terminal tackle, immaculate condition and for the opening bid of £80....retail £280. The rods are 3 piece and fit into my MG.

50p's to me are just things to flip. I confess to owning Kew, Olympic set, A-Z and a few other examples.I live my life in the fast lane. Numismatically I neither want or require them.
-
Awful, but hardly rare coin collectors. Exactly how many Beatrix Potter coins could one want?
-
That must be a collection that couldn't be further away from my numismatic preference.

Nice offer Dave.Although I can't see myself taking it up.

I took a punt last year and can honestly say I haven't even looked at them, apart from bagging and putting away. I suppose decimal's are appealing to new collectors and we have 50 yr old 1968 10p's blimey. In fact I have a shoe box with rolls of 60's cu,1950 3d's av circ,Scottish 1959 1/-'s,decimal rolls and other tat. -

It will be interesting to see how much they are valued as "treasure". There must be peeps who have a few of these in their cabinets spitting their coffee out.
