Just beware of the multitude of Commercial 'reproductions' that are supposed to emboss some sort of identification that it is, in fact, a reproduction. Unfortunately some crooks are finding ways to erase this mark. So if it is a bit pricy, especially, scrutinise it carefully. A good magnifier is a must. Study the subject before spending much.

I don't think anyone has mentioned the main reason for voting OUT, as I am, is the fact that the EU is run by a bunch of UNELECTED mandarins and the MEP's have at last admitted that they can change NOTHING! If someone, somewhere has said this before - I don't apologise for saying it again.

Edward III & Richard II' & 'Farthings and Halfpennies. Edward I & II' Also 'The Galata Guide to The Pennies of Edward I & II'. These suppliment my North's Vol. 1 & 2 which, to my mind, are essential. Prior reigns are similarly covered in individual publications and, if you're serious, can result in a very large library!!!

Once again the statement has been made by the Royal Mint that The 'Legal tender' commemorative crowns they produce are not acceptable by banks or for use as currency. This makes a mockery of the whole British monetary system. Collectors, on the whole, knew this but youngsters and gift giving elderly people did not. Fraud perhaps?
