  1. Hi All, im after some advice please. I found a coin in my fathers collection which has me stumped. It’s a Edward vii half penny but it’s kinda weird as it has no date. It doesn’t look at all like it’s been rubbed off. Secondly it has a lighthouse to left of Britannia and ship to her right. This design was halted in 1895 on the Queen Victoria version. Obviously Edward vii was between 1901-1910 so cant understand if this coin was a trial design or early proof. Can’t find any reference to it anywhere on the net. It also appears to be gold. Any info would be appreciated and if you think because of its rarity it’s likely to be valuable. I have attached some pics.
