Came for numismatics. Stayed for the people. All's well here, but we had some bush fires nearby. Property lost, but no lives thankfully. Tomorrow's max temp will be below 30 deg C for the first time in a long time.

Someone here invoked me I believe.
  5. Thanks for reading. Selling a 1787 Shilling with no dot over GIII's head. Purchased for about 270 GBP from Michael Gouby earlier this year. He supplied the attached scans and graded the coin at gEF. I'm asking 190 GBP plus postage. Please let me know if you have any questions.

  10. As per thread title, I'm interested to find out a little more about everyone here including your day jobs. If you're retired, what was your primary occupation when you still had one? I'm not working at the moment, but have a Bachelor of Music degree. Worked as a high school music teacher for about four years and a full-time private instrumental music teacher for about two. Also toiled in a very unglamorous administrative role in the insurance industry for seven years (loss adjusting firm). At the moment I do house chores and run around after my primary-school aged children while my wife works as a records officer at the local council.

  12. Grave digging gives me the opportunity to have many people under me.
  13. I've decided to become a grave digger. That way, when I die there will be someone to bury me.
  14. I once worked in admin but had a nervous breakdown.
  15. By the way, this really is my job. It wasn't supposed to be a joke. I really am a parasite living on welfare and my wife's income.
  16. Better than climbing the corporate ladder.
  17. I'm a bona fide barnacle clinging to the crusty hull of a welfare society, taking a free ride but with no control.
  18. Some relaxing Saturday music dedicated to all the Dads out there.
