More of an ethnic revolution on my road. I used to think that Slough was full of chavs, but when I went to Uxbridge for the first time you couldn't exactly not see a chav at one moment in time. Chavs are annoying on buses ...and then theres goths! You know, those wierd ones that dress up in black (or pink in some cases ). But they ain't half as bad as chavs.
  2. It does not look clear enough to be classed as anything other than a worn die, which yes is an error, but in this case it is not fatal enough for it to be classed as a new discovery.

    Happy Birthday, JMD!

Thank you ...so far I have a bit of money, but I am not sure weather to buy new coins or not. These last few months I have drifted away from coinage to focus more on schooling and (admitingly) a cirtain girl that I like. My grades could have been better going by this year's end of year exams, so I think I will try to focus wholely on my schooling, and hopefully return to coinage after my GCSE's. I will still be able to put in work for the CCGB Early Milled that Sylvester is doing (that is still going ahead right?) during my holidays. I have very nearly completed what I can of the Farthings and Halfpennies (peck numbers!?), and will be done in a few weeks time No doubt I will be checking up on the forum for all the latest news and views regularly, but like these last few months I shall not be able to participate as much. ...the end of my fourteenth year has definately seen a change in my life. I now listen to the more modern music, and (quite unexpectedly) I got myself a girlfriend Well...goodbye for now.

    Happy Birthday Sylvester!

Happy Birthday sylvester...sorry that i am a day late though
  8. Okay, I did a bit more of the Farthing price listing for CCEM, and I need the prices for 1675/2 and 5/3 in all conditions, as I do not have a guide that lists these, nor can I find the prices for them online. Thanks in advance.

    That time again - CCGB2006

I generally do that. I find that I can consentrate better in the morning as there is usually no one else online (on msn) to distract me, and I am not waiting for other people to come online to talk to myself. Our school is rubbish at time management. Last week, my english group was set a 1500 word essay on tuesday to be completed for wednesday!
  10. Happy Birthday Chris, (sorry its late). I hope you had fun

    That time again - CCGB2006

I think that I will have to skip it this time. As I am now (unofficially) year 11, I should start focusing more on schooling. And I still have to finish those early-milled farthings and halfpennies (I will be able to complete these). Sorry Chris
  12. woo! lol...well, well done, and hope you have a good future to come out from it

    Important Announcement

I will have to miss this too, sorry. Reason 1: I will not have enough money by then. Reason 2: I may be going whenever the next one after that is.

    Your Favourite...

Size, in my opinion, is probably the only thing which lets the farthing down. But, I think that the size of the farthing gives it its adorability. George IV and William IV half crowns are very nice indeed, I may be tempted to do a set of these myself one day...

    Your Favourite...

    As a whole, yes, farthings

    Your Favourite...

That is a very good question. Hmm... I would say the Vicky Farthing, but I am not entierly sure why I like them. They do look very nice in BUFL condition. But if they were a little cheaper, I would say the Mary Fine Sovereign as they look wonderful.

    Cheap hammered?

That is a very nice portrait indeed. All this talk of hammered coins is giving me the urge to buy one....hmm...maybe a sideline of Edward III hammered farthings would do nicely amoungst my milled ones!
  20. The other day (not sure when), a car hit another car, knocking the other car's mirrors off, whilst pulling into a petrol station. In the car that was responcible for the accident were four teenagers - three males and one female. Inside the car that was hit were two mid-30's Gypsies. Car 1 (the car with the teenagers inside) sped off so as not to start confrontation. Car 2 (the car with the gypsies inside) followed them and kept ramming the car. Car 1 rolled over, killing the two male teenagers instantly and putting the female into a coma. The third male was still consious and shocked. He managed to get out of the toppled car. The two gypsie men got out of their car and beat him to death before getting back into their car and speeding off. A witness of the crime called the police and ambulance services to see what had just happened. The female, who was in a coma, died shortly after she had been put in the ambulance. Four teenagers were killed by gypsies for just accidently knocking the mirror of a car. My deepest condolences to the parents and family of the teenagers.

    Evil Gypsies

Sorry about what I said about Gypsies, I was angry because firstly my mum told me that a friend from her workplace had driven past the aftermath of the accient and enquired into what had happened, and then when I logged into MSN a friend asked me if I had heard anything about a crash of quite similar description if not the same crash in the same area that had killed two of her Cousin's friends - of which she knew and was quite upset by. I am not sure about the press though. I haven't read through any newspapers recently and I do not think it has been on the bbc news for my area. - Maybe its a matter that the police want kept quiet about until after the elections? ...sorry if I offended anyone.
